I am not important to anybody

My dad keeps humiliating me because I am a girl, he sends my brother to keep a checkup on me, however, when I spoke of dropping him to his friend’s place, I was told to keep shut. I am told that I am a girl and I must know household work. Even when I was in my periods, my dad hit me, my brother also hit me. My brother twisted my hand, but my dad didn’t tell him anything. Whenever I want something, I can’t take it because my dad says a NO, but when he wants it, my dad instantly says a YES. All our vacations, outings, are for my brother. I often hear this, “it’s only because of my son that I’m doing this.” I am not important to anybody. I asked my brother to get something which was in the other room, and he abused me, saying I should take it on my own. And my dad encouraged him by ordering me to come and take it. I am suicidal.

  1. hey. I kinda know how you feel. I didn’t have an easy childhood either even though my dad hasn’t been that bad and my brother is my best friend.
But I understand you and I just wanted to say that you shouldn’t give up. Don’t let them win.
This is your life , one day you will get away from them. Show them who you are and what you can do.
We girls secretly run this world so held your head up high and don’t let them bring you down.
You are better than them. It’s just a matter of time and they will never be able to control or hurt you again.
I know it’s hard and it’ll probably haunt you all your life but please please please don’t give up.
You say you aren’t important to anybody? You are important to me.
    Let’s fight together.
