This is how to get bad thoughts out of your head, for anyone that can’t stop thinking about them.
1) Try doing chores (although most people hate them) like putting away the laundry, cleaning the dishes, vacuuming the carpet, etc. This will distract your mind.
2) Eat something, like a meal you particularly enjoy.
3) Try learning a little bit of a new language. For example, learn some common words and phrases like, (Japanese is used in my example) Thank you! -> ?????? Goodbye! -> ????? Hello! -> ??????
4) Do something you love, whether it be watching TV, playing a game, etc.
5) Take a nap for as long as you need to in order to regain your energy.
6) Try singing a song, even if your voice sounds like a strangled pig giving birth, singing is still fun!
7) If any friends are available, hang out!
8) If you play an instrument, play that too!
With these steps you keep yourself busy and distract your mind so that whatever you had on your mind is something you forget about. You can do these in any order you want, by the way! :3
