I was a fancy hotel, and I was heading to the pool for a swim. Being a bit overweight, I don’t look that well in my bathers. But I thought, I am only going to the pool, hardly anyone will see me anyway. I went to the lift to go down a floor as the pool was on the floor beneath. As the lift doors opened, a screaming kid appeared. Obviously he was playing in the lifts above, and when I went to use it, the doors closed on him.

I couldn’t leave him by himself, so I took him to reception. Reception is in full view of the entire hotel and meals area as its in a massive void so the 30 floors above could see me. So in my bathers with a screaming kid got everyone’s attention. So embarrassing.

I wanted to be a scientist and now I’m a clerk!
