My name is Ajay and am 27 years old. I am from pithoragarh, uttarakhand, India. I have my bachelors and masters in human resource and hotel management.
From 2012 I want to eliminate the problem of child begging from our nation. I done my freelancing research in this field only. After that i cam to know that its not one man work, we need groups, coordination and team work.

In 2015 I started my barefoot journey around the nation for spreading awareness among people that please don’t give money to children, give them life, education but not the motivation to beg.
I also started an organisation with the name Ghanshyam oli child welfare society in pithoragarh, uttarakhand ( my home town ) fir the free education and development of underprivileged children’s.

More than 13000 children we enrolled for free education.

We convert more than dozens of child beggars and child labours into main stream.

We accommodate 6 children in our shelter home for their overall development.

We have digital study centres for free educational sessions.

But during my journey i realised that we need awareness in a larger scale with the help of reputed institutions like you.
So that every body can join this movement and we achieve child begging free nation(INDIA).

My barefoot journey include a distance of 80,000 km ( more than 8000km is barefoot walk , rest with the help of local conveyance).
It includes ” bheekh nahi denge ” pledge with more than 2 lakh people, motivational sessions, etc.
