My whole life I’ve been disappointed by friends, family & past lovers. It seems like I always love people more than they love me.

Now I’m sitting here and wondering how I’ve gotten myself into this situation once again.

My question today is how can someone tell you they love you, tell you they want to marry you, tell you they want to have kids with you etc.

But then as soon as they do things to make you fall in love with them they tell you how they don’t love you anymore. They say they want you to call them sweet names, they want you to be there for them etc.

But they don’t want a relationship, but they don’t want you to talk or date anyone else. Basically they want you to act like a girlfriend towards them but they don’t want a relationship with you anymore just so they can go out and do whatever the fuck they want.

It feels like shit. You sat there and poured all your love, time & energy into them just so they can tell you that they don’t love you anymore. How did I get here?
