Here’s my story: I’m a 19 year old freshman in college; I’m a good kid for the most part. Sure, I do my fair share of partying but who doesn’t go a little crazy their first year of college? I had my first kiss when I was 19, and a few months later I lost my virginity (with a different guy). Everything was so new to me, I had so many guys in my life all of a sudden after never talking to guys in high school. You could say I was a little boy crazy. Well, things went pretty bad the night I lost my virginity. The boy I hooked up with got mad at me for not texting him back so he went and slept with one of my good friends which sucked. I put it all behind me and moved on- but then I didn’t get my period. I didn’t freak, I couldn’t have been safer when having sex, plus I was taking a medication that I knew messed with periods. Well, a month later I went into the doctors about a sore throat and they took some blood. I was waiting for the doctor to come back and tell me I had a virus but she comes in and tells me I’m pregnant. I couldnt believe it. I had sex twice at 19 and I was pregnant. I’m a deans list college student who works hard at school, I never thought this would happen to me. Well on Thursday I’m having an abortion. I know thats a sensitive subject for some people but for me it was a no brainer. I couldn’t have been safer, and I don’t want this child and cannot provide for it. This is a tough lesson but I told my mom and she was very supportive, plus my best friends are very supportive. Wish me luck everyone
