I lost my wife to lung brain cancer

My name is James fox. I lost my wife to lung brain cancer and her name is Vicky. She is a mother to five and we have been married for 16 years. I am so lost without her, my grief is all consuming. I am being strong for my children, but when I go into my room I am just overwhelmed. Is this normal? I love her more than anyone can imagine so is grief stronger the more you love them?
