Our Story

Once upon a time, I fell in “love at first sight” with a wonderful young woman. To my amazement, it seemed as though that same young woman had fallen in a similar manner for me. That moment in time felt to possess a type of magnetism very much akin to the pull that Romeo and Juliet have been so artfully described as to have felt towards one another. We met, we wooed, and we quickly found out that warring families do not have a stranglehold on the star-crossing market. We made the most of the time we had together, but we discovered that each of our respective lives were headed in very different directions. Neither one of us were in any kind of position to alter the paths that we were on, so we resolved to permit ourselves to develop the slightest of hopes that we might one day find each other again under more favourable circumstances.
As unlikely as it clearly was that such hopes would ever be fulfilled, I have recently found her again…. kind of. You see, the young woman that I met almost exactly a decade ago has become the famous musician whom she told me she intended to become. I have done much with my life over the past ten years, but a small part of me promised myself that, if I was given the chance, I would do everything within my power to reconnect with this young woman to find out if we could have what we missed out on so long ago.

The Plan

I have been completely unable to communicate successfully with her on my own in any way, since I intend to remain respectful of her personal privacy and space. The only way that I can think to succeed in my endeavour now is to purchase a “meet and greet” ticket upgrade to one of her concerts. Unfortunately, she is just about to embark on a European tour, and no plans to follow up with another US tour have been posted anywhere.
I intend to fly to Europe and meet her in person. I realize that my grand gesture may very likely end in disappointment, but I will simply not forgive myself if I do not give this my all. My life is in a place where I am able to pursue this dream, but I need help to make the trip. Such an opening in my schedule encourages me that the chance I did not get once before may indeed become a reality.

Checklist

I need to purchase a rush replacement passport; round trip tickets; tickets to her show and for the meet and greet; travel expenses and food. I intend to tell my story in greater detail and record my experiences then post them on YouTube throughout this journey as soon as I am sure that it will become a reality.
I dearly hope that this dream may become a reality. I do realize that this whole thing is a long shot, but I have this rare chance to chase after the unthinkable. The unique circumstances of this story seem too unique to keep to myself, so I am excited that I may have the opportunity to share it with others as well.
