I have a port wine stain on my face

I’m an eighteen-year-old high school student who has a port wine stain on my face. A port wine stain is a red or purple birthmark. It sits on the right side of my nose, so who doesn’t see it when they talk to me?

I was born with it and I’ve learned to live with it. I’m not going to say that I’m okay with it but it doesn’t affect my live really. I’ve learned to cover it up with makeup and I’m pretty good at covering it.

I do wish I wouldn’t have to wear makeup all the time to feel normal.

  1. You should embrace who you are without caring what others think. wearing makeup is not bad. wearing make up doesn’t mean that you are covering up who you are its just a temp fix to what you wish looked a bit differently. why do you take a shower and groom yourself? to look not like a psycho every morning.. so you wear some make up to cover up and not have to feel self-conscious.
