You didn’t tell me you had a brother

It just feels like everybody in my family forgets about me expect my mom. My older brother barley even talks to me, and my dad forgot my birthday was coming up. I overheard this conversation earlier

Mom: What are you going to get (insert my name) for his birthday?

Dad: …His birthday?

Mom: Yes, his birthday.

Dad: …What day is it on?

Not only that, but my dad gave a speech on Christmas and mentioned everybody expect me into my mom told him he was forgetting me.

My brother told his girlfriend all about mom and dad, but when it came time for us to meet her, she said “You didn’t tell me you had a brother.”

It wasn’t like this when I was younger, but now it only seems like my mom remembers me.
