I have to give up my dreams of studying further

All my life I have worked hard in my academics, and worked hard to provide for my family in any way I could. I was only a kid but I had to take on parental responsibilities because of my financially abusive father. Today I am nineteen years old, my parents finally divorced, and I have 5 distinctions on my 12th year certificate. I have to give up my dreams of studying further. I cannot afford it; my father still controls us financially. I still need to work to provide for my family, not for myself.
