I’ll be lucky to make 30 with eyesight

My story about me? Well where do I start? On the outside I look like your average kind of guy. It’s the inside no-one can see or understand, expect a handful of people. At the age of 11 I was diagnosed with a condition known as X-linked Retinitis Pigmentosa. The condition slowly but surely deteriorates the sufferers eyesight. Im currently 22 year old and I’ll be lucky to make 30 with eyesight. I’ve been through hell all my life from depression, loss, anger, hurt and upset. This condition effects more than the sight… It effects the mind on so many ways too to the point it can push sufferers to substance abuse, depression, anxiety and in some cases attempted suicides. Growing up with sight then having it taken away from you is really daunting. There is no cure for the Condition and is also inherited through families so my future children can be effected.
