The thing was that he doesn’t even know what broke him. He doesn’t know where things went wrong. Where his ambitions fled from him and his confidence shrivelled up to nothing. He never knew who he was but was excited to find out. That feelings long passed. What was once a quiet hopefulness twisted into fear screaming at him so loud that he couldn’t hear the positive thoughts. It was crippling. The simplest of tasks seemed unbearable.
